According to a new report, leaked US documents show that the war in Ukraine has severely impacted Russia's elite special forces. The Washington Post cited US assessments, leaked through Discord, which indicate that it could take Moscow years to replenish the ranks of its clandestine special forces.
Russian commanders have reportedly over-relied on specialized units during the conflict, contributing to the depletion of the spetsnaz forces. Though these forces are usually assigned to specialized, high-risk missions, senior Russian commanders ordered them into direct combat when the war began. The leaked documents do not provide specific numbers of killed or wounded troops, but one spetsnaz unit reportedly lost almost its entire brigade, with only 125 active personnel remaining out of 900 deployed.
The leak of sensitive and classified documents has caused concern within the US government, as it exposes information about Ukraine's battalion sizes, advanced weaponry, and other military capabilities, potentially harming the Ukrainian war effort. In connection with the leak, Massachusetts Air National Guard member Jack Teixeira was arrested and charged with unauthorized retention of classified material. The leaked assessments highlight the significant impact the war in Ukraine has had on Russian forces.
Couple of points; There is no way a non com reservist of 21 would even be able to print any of those documents out, let alone in presentation packet paper format the way it was. This was a presentation packet provided during a briefing and there is no way the chain of control for those documents would have allowed him to contact them. The USA is proven, beyond a shadow of a doubt, to fabricate perception by any means necessary. In short, you shouldnt consider any information in that "leaked document" as legitimate. It is so suspect that that level of document would ever contact the person supposedly to have gotten it that it is a far greater chance that it is …
I learned nothing from the leak that wasn't already known , it was the fact that was leaked was the crime . The material itself had no value. The combat losses were reversed. He will be in prison for a long time.
Did anyone expect anything else? I'm in awe of the way Russia has been throwing away troops in this war, they have been careless in the past but this is next level insanity. Highly trained troops have been used as one level above cannon fodder and the cost in both those troops and materiel is huge and irreplaceable in the short or medium term. It's total madness and the only explanation I can come up with is they thought that UAF forces would capitulate if they kept throwing enough troops at them. No words exist for tghis stupidity except for keep it up boys, y'all soon have fuck all left.
I can't keep people from fulminating. However, if they do so, they will enjoy life more.
Do you really know that "contacts" were disclosed?
Do you know that specific UA plans were disclosed? It would be news to me as other reports said that nothing about a counter offensive was in the materials to date.
What have you already read in the leaked documents that you otherwise did not know or would not know if you subscribed to three UA v. Russia websites. I have not learned anything that was not already discussed in news reports over the last year.
I had a fulminating brother call up and asked how a weekend warrior would have access to classified materials. H…
